Rezidor to Build 2 New Hotels in Dubai.

The Rezidor Hotel Group is expanding its presence in Dubai with the development of two hotels with a total of 450 rooms set to open in the United Arab Emirates city by late 2011.... The company will build the Radisson DMCC Business Park Hotel, a 32-story complex... Dubai is the economical heart of the United Arab Emirates and a very important market for us," Kurt Ritter, Rezidor CEO & president...The hotels will be developed next to the Jumeirah Lake Towers and opposite Dubai Marina....In December, Rezidor announced it was building the Radisson Hotel Jumeirah Dubai, a 240-room hotel, set to open in late 2009....Carlson Cos. is the main shareholder in Rezidor, which is based in Brussels, Belgium, and has a portfolio of more than 330 hotels ...And Rezidor is far from the only hospitality company building in Dubai, which is becoming one of the top resort destinations in the world...
