The Dubai Waterfront is the largest waterfront development in the world. The project is a cluster of canals and manmade islands staged with ... luxury hotels and houses. It is expected to have a population of around 400,000 people and convert the last stretch of Dubai's Gulf seashore into a urban city.
The Dubai real estate project is open to foreigners and foreign investments by its developer, Nakheel, who owns 51% stake. Nakheel's real estate development (waterfront Project) will consist of 170 square miles of water and land, a total area more than twice the size of Washington, D.C.
