UAE's Sobha Group to invest $1b to set up 2000-room Hotel Chain

Dubai-based property developer Sobha Group said it would diversify into the hospitality sector with a $1 billion investment to build a chain of hotels offering 2,000 rooms in the first phase. The group plans to develop at least 10 five-star properties, of which six immediately, with two hotels earmarked for Dubai, six for India, and one each in Oman and Zanzibar.
