Future Group in JV with UAE-based Axiom for mobile retailing

Kishore Biyani promoted Future Group today said it has entered into a joint venture with UAE-based mobile retail company Axiom Telecom and plans to set up more than 1,500 outlets across India by 2009, entailing an investment of 40 million dollars.
The new JV, Future Axiom Telecom Ltd, would take charge of the 500 odd Mobile Bazaar and Mport stores in 58 cities operated by Future Group under the name of ConvergeM since the company ventured into mobile retailing in 2006, Future group said in a statement. ...
