UAE is biggest market in Mena for US exports

Dubai: US exports to the UAE have grown multifold since the beginning of the century and placed the country as the top list of America's importers in Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region, US ambassador to the UAE Richard Olson said Wednesday.
"In 2000, US exports to the UAE amounted to $2.2 billion [Dh8.1 billion]. In 2008, they reached $15.7 billion," Olson said.
