LONDON (AP) - Balfour Beatty PLC, the London-based construction company with operations in Britain, the United States, the Middle East and Asia, said Wednesday that profits for the first half of the year rose 77 percent, on the back of booming international business. ...Balfour shares gained 2 percent to 419 pence (US$7.97) on the London Stock Exchange.
